The service learning project was definitely a wholesome and enriching experience for me. It helped me to realise the importance of giving back to the society like teaching the kids at the marine parade family service centre. I learnt that we can help people not just materialistically such as giving them gifts and presents, but we can also provide help and services to the needy like teaching the less fortunate children. Not only did it remind us that there are indeed people around who need our help , but it also taught us to be more patient. I can definitely see myself doing these kinds of activities in the future as i truly enjoyed myself
