3I Jason Prasad (9)

The service learning conducted at Ngee Ann Primary School has been an eye-opener for me. This experience has taught me the importance of not judging a book by its cover and how to continue to persevere on even in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Those kids there have a unique disposition in terms of behavior and as such can make thing difficult for us, their minders. Yet however, I enjoyed my time spent there and find it to be time well spent as not a single minute spent in the service of our community is a wasted minute. Overall, such activities are enriching both for the participant and whoever he is reaching out to and as such can be considered mutually beneficial.

In the future, I can see myself getting involved in such activities as this is not the first time I have participated in an activity of this vein and actually have participated in similar activities with members of other schools and organizations out of my free will and in my free time.
